cute bunnyHappy Chinese New Year! Gung hay fat choy! So, what do you call a bunch of rabbits bouncing backwards? A receding hare line. Okay. Sorry, but I'm just celebrating. Forget the tiger baby (and please, let's all forget Tiger Mom), if you are giving birth between now and January 22, 2012, your baby will be born in the Year of the Rabbit.

Whooo hooo! You are one lucky mama (and not because of the rabbit feet).

Not up on your Chinese zodiac? Here's a rundown on babies born during the Year of the Rabbit.

Not only are those born under the sign of the Rabbit considered lucky (how many times can we make the rabbit foot joke?), they are also supposed to be creative, gentle, compassionate, and calm. Rabbit babies tend to be stylish, fashionable, and classy, good news for those of you hoping for a mini-fashionista.

Most compatible signs for a Rabbit baby? Those born under the sign of goat (1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015) and the pig (1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019).

Babies born under the sign of the Rabbit are calm, but we all get the benefit of this tranquil sign. The whole year is supposed to serene, especially compared to 2010's Year of the Tiger, and next year, when the mighty Dragon comes into play.

In other words, enjoy this chill time now (and I'm not talking the weather temps).

Are you having a Year of the Rabbit baby?
