I'd say 2010 was a big year for celebrity tattoos -- we talked about Rihanna's neck Miley's ear, and of course Benjamin Millepied's abs, which all featured some ink.
What people choose to have as a tattoo is usually a very personal and unique interpretation of something that happened in their life. So I guess it makes sense, if you are into tattoos, to get one of your baby.
You could go the route of teen mom Amber and get one on your belly, although, I wouldn't recommend it for a number of reasons. You could also have your man get a picture of your baby tattooed on his forearm instead. Like this soccer star.
Jamie O'Hara who plays for Tottenham Hotspur is the famous footballer who got a permanent reminder of his 5-month-old son Archie with a tattoo of his son on his forearm.
He was so excited he couldn't wait to show it off and proudly posted a photo of it in progress on his Twitter account @mrjamieohara:
At lal hardys new wave tattoo getting my boy on my arm, the best tattooist around, and hes a spurs fan.
So let's state the obvious here: Jamie O'Hara is really good looking and I'm sure whatever he wanted to get tattooed on any part of his body would look really hot. That's a plus. But beyond that, my first reaction is that it might be a little strange to have a baby's face looking at you a father's arm.
Then the more I think about it, I think it's kind of romantic. It's a very loving gesture and it might be sweet to see it five, ten, even twenty years down the road as a reminder of that time when you first met your baby or became parents together.
So I'm going to say yes, hot. What do you think?

Don't know why you would even say you might think its strange.
To each their own, but I personally think tattoos are tacky.

Interesting. Her opinion differs from yours, and that makes HER closeminded. Fascinating.
Back on topic... I think it's tacky too. Imagine what that kid's face is going to look like on the forearm of his dad...when his dad is 80!! All wrinkly and saggy! Nope... leave the face off. Go for the name, the date, write it in a heart, on a banner, whatever, but leave off the photo.
I agree with ponychaser.......when one is of advanced age, a tatto does not look that great. I would get my child's name/initials and birthdate maybe (if I ever got a tatto) because the picture might look bad someday.
I'm sure you wont be supermodels.
This is normal in my world. Very sweet.
