valco baby recalled strollerCheck your strollers, it's recall time.

The Valco Baby Tri Mode Single and Double Jogging Strollers (pictured here) have an optional grab bar that your child could potentially slip through and be caught between the bottom of the seat and the grab bar, if not properly harnessed. This poses a risk of strangulation, and the grab bars have been recalled.

While no injuries have been reported, Valco urges you to remove the grab bar immediately.

This recall affects strollers sold between November 2007 and March 2010 with the following model numbers.

Check your stroller and contact Valco to receive a replacement bar or if you have any further questions. You can reach Valco at (800) 610-7850 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET; or visit the firm’s website at www.valcobaby.com or email at recall@valcobaby.com.

Again, no injuries have been reported, and the grab bar is an optional feature on the jogging strollers. You should always have your baby harnessed properly inside their stroller, especially if you're going for a jog. Additionally, you should never leave your baby unattended in his stroller.

More information about the proper use of strollers can be found at the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
