Congratulations to our winners, PhilsBabyMama and Carey2006!
Summer's here. It's hot. We're outside a lot and we have to protect baby! But with all the chemicals in sunscreens, I get nervous.
MD Moms makes great products that won't harm your little ones! Babysafe Sunscreen Towelettes are wipes with a pre-measured dose of a gentle, sweat-proof, broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen. They have no phthalates, lanolin, mineral oil, petroleum, or waxes -- and are made of physical sunscreens. Titanium and zinc oxide are the only active ingredients.
I like!
They also make Daily Skin Protection Moisturizing Balm (lotion moms can use, too) and a Gentle All Over Clean Hair and Body Wash to get baby clean after a day in the sand.
Two of you can win the MD Moms Summer Sun Survival Kit, which includes sunscreen, balm, and wash. To enter to win, tell me ...
What do you have planned with your baby for this summer? Vacation? Long walks in the park? Visits with grandma?

We're going camping this weekend, beach the end of august and maybe some little activities in between =)
Wow! That's awesome! We just got back from the beach, but plan on going to a water park and hiking on a nature preserve with our little guy. :)
I think we overdue it with sunscreen because it blocks vitamin D production. Check out this story. Remember that we evolved as species being exposed to sunlight.

Sunscreen companies are not legally permitted to promote that their products prevent skin cancer. Organizations like The Skin Cancer Foundation were created to do it for them. This one is lead by a dermatologist named Dr. Perry Robbins.
Check out this link to Skin Cancer Foundations "Corporate Council". No coincidence that sunscreen companies are heavily involved in directing organizations that scare us out of the sun!

This NY Times article exposes the American Cancer Society stretching the truth to scare us into using sunscreens.

spending lots of time at the beach will be what we are doing this summer.
wait lanolin is not bad. its a natural ingrediant found in sheeps wool. its one of the few moisturizers I will use. I hardly use sunscreen because of all the bad stuff but lanolin is not one of the bad things!
I would love to try this stuff! We plan alot of days at the zoo under the hot summer sun!
This is a novel idea! And a much easier way to sunscreen the babes! Thanks for the offer! I am a lotion freak!
This sounds like a great find. We love to swim and spend time outdoors but we both are allergic to most chemical sunscreens. I'm checking out the website now!!!
To the Beach!
