Amanda Peet Breastfeeds & Finally Makes It to Letterman

Amanda Peet was supposed to be a guest on Letterman last month, but she went into labor and had a girl, Molly June, instead. A much better night than spending it with Dave, don't you think?

The new mom kept her commitment and made her appearance last week. She brought with her the sweetest clip showing her bonding with her newborn.

This video is when Molly was just a few days old. During her appearance, Peet explained how she and her husband decided on their baby's name at the last minute.

"You can't leave the hospital until you sign a paper with the name, so we got right up to the point where the nurse was trying to usher us out of the hospital and the car seat was in the car and we still couldn't choose between Maya June and Molly June," she said.

They decided by writing the names on two pieces of paper, then hiding them in her husband's hand. Amanda chose the hand that held Maya and she got upset. So Molly became her name.

Frances, Peet's first daughter who's 3 years old, told her mom that she wants to have a baby in her belly and she wants to breastfeed, too. Awww!

When discussing the video, Amanda said of Molly, "She's in the state of life where you basically think that everything is a boob."

Letterman being Letterman responded, "So that's just a stage is what you're saying?"

And ... how amazing does Amanda look! Even in that video -- all fresh-faced and gorgeous!

Does your baby have a sibling who takes an interest in feeding the newborn or wanting to be mama, too?
