Recalled Infant Tylenol and Motrin; Is It in Your Cabinet?

Thanks to my online grocer, I just found out I did, indeed, purchase a recalled bottle of Infant's Tylenol. Of course, I'm going to toss it out, but I've already used half of the bottle due to a wicked bout of teething last month.

I'm not sure whether to be annoyed, relieved, or both. Luckily this recall isn't a result of adverse health effects on an infant or child; but like the crib and car seat recalls, it's scary to know you own something that could, or did, harm a child.

You don't have to get an email alert to find out if you too have an offending product in your cabinet. The McNeil Consumer Health website has a list of NDC numbers that are part of the consumer recall alert for the following products:

Infant's Tylenol

Children's Tylenol

Infant's Motrin

Children's Motrin

Children's Zyrtec

Children's Benadryl

You can also contact McNeil about receiving coupons and refunds. They do warn the call volume will be high, so expect delays in returned emails and phone calls.

Do you have any of these items in your cabinet? Are you upset?
