Now that I'm a mom everything is different. I'm still the same person, yes, but the same person who has been changed. You get what I mean, right?
I just have this feeling that babies change the world. Or they could change the world. If people open up their hearts and let the sunshine in. Think about it, how do you feel when you look at or hold a baby? For me, it's best feeling ever. So if we could bottle that up and send it to the people who are evil, cruel, or want to do others harm, maybe we could have world peace and everyone would be buying everyone dark chocolate bars and cookie dough ice cream and smiling all the time.
Okay maybe that would make everyone's cheeks hurt.
There's a documentary coming out on May 7th just in time for Mother's Day called Babies and based on the trailer, it seems like that kind of movie that brings cultures together to celebrate life and love. I cried happy tears watching it. Hey, I'm barely 4 months postpartum!
Babies follows four babies from four different parts of the world -- Mongolia, Japan, Namibia, United States -- for one year. And I need to see it and bring some tissues and get ready for my cheeks to hurt when the final credits roll.
Check out the trailer. Do you want to see this as much as I do?
