Tips from moms and experts alike on the most preschooler-friendly vacation spots.

All-Inclusive Spots

Cruise ships and family all-inclusive resorts are great vacation spots when traveling with a toddler. They usually have childcare facilities, allowing the parents to have a little bit of time off while baby is entertained and looked after. The all-inclusive aspect simplifies the vacation planning - no need to strap baby in the car to find a place to eat. Resorts located in nature are also very toddler-friendly. Wherever Your Toddler Wants to Go!

I always enjoy spots that have lots of open space, easy schedules and quiet nap rooms for all- but this is definitely an individual decision. I think the magic is helping include your toddler into the vacation- I’ve seen toddlers on kayaks, on the Appalachian Trail, and 5 star restaurants in Key West, the real magic is including and preparing them for where you want to go on vacation! - MegAnne Ford, Certified Parent Coach at Be Kind Coaching, @bekindcoaching

Mexico

Mexico! The flights are short (from most of the U.S.) and the culture is so welcoming to young children. Domestically, I like Orlando, Houston, and Gatlinburg. - Lakita Leonard, Travel Agent at Fun Travels by Lakita

Disney Parks

Disney parks for sure. There’s so much to do even for the youngest of kids, and they’re the happiest places on earth!

Singapore

Singapore (easy to get around, plenty to see, good food options, nice weather). Fiji (as above but also on island time). Really the whole world is your oyster. My daughter who's 2 has visited 10 countries so far! All have been fantastic!

The Great Outdoors

We love camping because it can be (almost) anywhere, it's mainly outdoor activities, and we don't have to worry about a lot of busy roads!
